ComicBookResources has the preview of issue #33, where we get any idea of how Qubit was able to escape the super prison in deep space.

I just read something like this in a Dr. Who issue, didn't I?

Still, its an ingenious way of dealing with the man power problem.

The timeline outlined means he's pulling the same person from the future repeatedly, as they are all pulled from the point of origin. So pulling #2 from 167 hours in the future is the same as pulling #1 from 168 hours in the future and so one.

And what happened to them all when he'd finished?

I assume they probably winked out of existence, once the timeline they came from ceased to exist.

It looks like the future Qubits are walking through the time gate thingy voluntarily, so they may have been able to choose which iteration of the gate they walk through (and hence how far back they're pulled). In that case, #1 lives through the week and jumps back 168 hours to become #2, who lives through the week and jumps back 167 hours to become #3, who lives through the week (minus one hour) and jumps back 166 hours to become #4, who lives through the week (minus two hours) and jumps back 165 hours to become #5, and so on.

At week's end, I imagine all of them headed back through the time gate simultaneously, except for Qubit the Last, who was subjectively now a year or two older. He headed for Earth.

I don't really see why Qubit had a manpower problem in the first place, though. He's standing in a room full of electronics and he has that psychic-tech-building ability. If he just needs guys to hold tools, he can't assemble a swarm of robot assistants or something?

Is it an orgy, or is it masturbation? Inquiring minds want to know.

This sounds like a job for... SCIENCE!

Better living through reckless experimentation, don't you know.

An orgy with just one person is weirder than I want to think about...

So I guess the inability to die is extended to characters other than the Plutonian, huh?

Qubit was never presumed dead.
