A little nit picky... the Phoenix has been on earth SEVERAL times since the Dark Phoenix Saga.... Wolverine saying that Jean killed herself... wasn't that a Phoenix/Jean clone...? Wolverine of all people should know that...

the last few times the phoenix has been on earth it has been an Ally....

also Tony and Steven seem to know next to NOTHING about the Phoenix....

hell honestly Scott's Idea seems the smartest...

De nada. I love making recommendations.

Though, I do add one caveat to the Morrison stuff: he writes Scott dark and disturbed sometimes. But it makes sense in the context: not too long before that, they had a story where Scott and Apocalypse had merged into one being. So he still holds some of that darkness and inner turmoil.

That sounds interesting actually! I don't mind darker stories as long as they don't feel ridiculous and overdramatic to me :D
