Perhaps we shouldn't mention the time Bat-Mite walked around in Batgirl's body for several days
Feb. 10th, 2012 08:06 pmAlas, this is the final issue of Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Four random pages from the story (the "plot" is "Bat-Mite gets a crush on Batgirl") below the cut.

After the story, there's a short piece with Bat-Mite mourning the Dingbats of Danger Street teamup we will never get to see.
But hey, Superman Family Adventures! Whee!

Date: 2012-02-11 08:18 pm (UTC)It was an issue of World's Finest, titled something like "The Batgirl-Supergirl War against Superman & Batman!" It was the official first meeting of Batgirl and Supergirl.
Batgirl comes across Supergirl fighting a mysterious cloud creature, they team up to defeat it, then introduce themselves.
Shortly thereafter, they begin to behave oddly, seemingly determined to embarrass and then destroy the Batman-Superman team. Their plans are ever more successful, until out heroes realize that Supergirl and Batgirl can't be the persons they seem to be. No, it's Black Flame and Catwoman...er, no, It's Mr. Mxyzptlk and Bat-Mite, who made yet another stupid bet about whether Batman or Superman would figure out their involvement first.
It's at this point Supergirl and Batgirl are returned from the other dimension they were imprisoned in once they touched the cloud creature.--So in point of fact this story doesn't pass the Bechdel Test, because the heroines never actually talk to each other on-panel!
Bat-mite, at least, chose to remain in character in the early part of the story by also living Barbara Gordon's life--we see him in her body, in her sleepwear, watching television.
