Considering it's a comic that's always the only symptom of only one thing.

So, whose the father?

Well considering the cover showing her heavily pregnant it's kind of hard for it NOT to be pregnancy.

Is she pregnant-pregnant, or is she having one of those wacky super fast pregnancies that give birth to some sort of diabolical hellspawn?

Gotta love how Pregnancy in comics is always either

A. An exscuse to perminantly or semi perminantly sideline a female character, put them on a bus, and ship them off to 'domestic land' where they're never seen again or

B. vastly accelerated, horrifying, and invariably producing something that is highly abnormal or evil

I know the authors are just working with formulaic cliche's and that ascribing some sort of hidden vendetta against women or pregnancy is a bridge too far (never ascribe to malevolence what can adequatly be explained by ineptitude or a lack of creativity!) but MAN just once i'd like to read about a pregnancy that was a joyous occasion.

And it doesn't count if you immediatly put the baby on a bus afterwards either -_-

Yeah, pregnancy is usually used for some kind of angst factor. As for comic pregnancies that I can think of right now that don't fit into those two categories, I think Jessica Jones fits the bill. She wasn't planning on getting pregnant, but she basically instantly decided she wanted it, so we didn't go through any of the should I keep it/abortion/adoption/ hemming and hawing that usually goes with unplanned pregnancies. The birth itself was a bit of a problem basically cause the kid has two parents with super powers and they didn't know if that would cause any problems, but she was delivered with Dr. Strange's help without any mishaps. And during and after her pregnancy, Jessica has still regularly showed up in titles and has even kind of started doing the super hero gig again, so she hasn't been sidelined because of it (and probably never will be as long as Bendis is still writing).

So, uh, yay! I thought of one good comics pregnancy! And now I'm thinking of about twenty others that went horribly wrong! lol.

Yeah, having a class where the teacher doesn't actually teach isn't as fun as it sounds - at least, in a college setup where your paying 10,000 a year just for the privelidge to attend.
