The Earth-2 ones are the ones I'm particularly interested in...

I don't like Power Girl's costume...the across-the-shoulders S-shield works...it doesn't work at all with the P (which I don't think Peeg should have, anyway). Also, I think she needs sleeves. Whether there's legs on her costume or not, there should be sleeves.

The Supergirl and Robin behind Peeg and Huntress are interesting - I have to assume those are their former identities, and I'm interested in why Kara graduated from Supergirl to Power Girl (instead of, say, Superwoman), particularly. I also like Hel having been Robin, rather than Batgirl, though I couldn't put my finger quite on why. Why Huntress, rather than Batgirl or Batwoman is a good idea is obvious - it acknowledges her mother as much as her father - why Robin (taken from daddy's sidekick) should be an improvement, in that light, I'm less sure.

Wondie's E-2 costume...I'm torn on...it's got some really neat elements to it, but it doesn't really hold together. Hopefully it'll look better under Scott's pencil than Capullo's. I like Capullo in general (I think he's the second-best artist on the Bat-books right now), but I'm not impressed with that cover. Bruce and Clark's (presuming those are Bruce and Clark, and not, say, Dick and the Kid) look pretty good, though - I especially like the use of negative space to sketch out the bat symbol.

Oh, wait...that's the Ivan Reis variant, looking at the file name...explains why it looks so un-Capullo-ish. (On the other hand, I expect better from Reis than this, too...)

From what I've read, Kara and Helena didn't 'graduate', but rather assumed identities on Earth 1 as 'Power Girl' and 'Huntress' because there were already a 'Supergirl' and 'Robin' on their new home. Also a 'Batwoman'. Why not 'Power Woman', though? Possibly because 'Super Girl' segued better into 'Power Girl'. She didn't age. She moved.

Yeah, that occurred to me after I made the post, and actually read the solicit beyond the credits...and I really like the idea. Nice to hear it's probably the case.

(Though it makes me hate the P-shield* even more. It only makes sense, IMO, for trying to maintain some Supergirl->Power Girl continuity, and if she took the Power Girl name on a world where she was never Supergirl...)

* Yeah, I know what that sounds like...it does kind of sum up my opinion on it.
