Greatest Love Story of All Time

GREATEST LOVE STORY EVAR.

Man, I miss this Emma. Y'know, the one who wasn't constantly being unpleasant to people for no good reason. The thing with her and Bobby was cute, I wouldn't mind that being explored more. Though, at this point, that probably isn't going to happen.

	Oh! I loved this so much. I tell everyone that this was the version of Emma Frost I like the best. And the "thing" with her and Bobby was awesome (and gloriously messy in the way only X-stuff can be). 	I'm sure it did, doesn't make me feel any less squicked by the idea. The incident was also the cause of an underlying resentment that Bobby had because Emma, caring less about the wlefare of his body than he did, made the Iceman powers do any number of very impressive tricks that he'd never tried himself. This is the main problem I have with current Emma Frost. She's done a ton of horrible things to everyone on the team and doesn't seem even minorly contrary and everyone's just cool about it? There's this one issue of Uncanny where Emma's sad because she's having relationship issues with Scott and Storm sits down with her and helps her out. Ignoring that Emma is snotty and dismissive with Storm throughout the whole conversation, EMMA ONCE STOLE STORM'S BODY AND THEN F*CKED SEBASTIAN SHAW IN IT. One of the first times Storm came close to breaking her killing vow was after she got her body back, when she tried to murder Emma. I don't see the two of them being friendly, EVER.

That being said, I do like the Bobby/Emma romance. Between this and his things with Mystique, Lorna, and Infectia, one could argue that Iceman has a thing for dangerous/evil women.

Actually, later she and Bobby reconciled and settled the issue when he had a hole in his chest while still in ice-form. He wrecked her place, but with her counsel and a lot of introspective talking, he managed to close the gap and return to his human form. But instead of a romantic-vibe, it was closer to a mentor/mother role for Emma with her being proud at Bobby overcoming his self-doubt.
