still can't get behind the art... to grotesque (in the sense of the physical distortions not necissarily "ugly") they look all squishy and pinched....

And Logan doesn't think for a moment that maybe a casino that caters to all kinds of species with all kinds of powers might have people watching for things like telepaths using their powers to cheat?

Hell, if I ran a casino in that universe, even one on earth, I'd make a point of hiring people who can watch for that kind of thing, and invest in a lot of power nullifiers while I was at it.

I think Logan's betting on it. Quentin will get himself exposed/busted, and that Logan will have to gamble on his own solo against a "big fish"/casino. That way he gets more people betting against him with more money, and he gets more money if he wins on his own.

I think that, assuming he isn't using Q as a distraction, he'd be relying more on the kid's super intellegence thing than his telepathy thing.

To be honest I don't think I have ever seen a species able to ease drop on a shielded TP conversation before. Its possible the Kid Omega screwed up and made an unshielded link.

Personally I think this whole mission is more about Logan trying to get a feel for what Quentin is really capable of more than anything else. I mean didn't Logan flat out say a few issues back that none of them have any idea what Quentin's real power set is other than TP and the occasional TK?

I don't recall him being telekinetic to be honest, I thought he was a telepath only.

Yeah but he doesn't do anything with it. Beast and Nemesis invent stuff all the time, the smartest thing Quentin's done recently is turn his brain into a video game and trap Wolverine and Armor in it.

Note Logan doesn't say he is, only that Quentin SAYS he is... and Quentin's ego can draw nearby small planetoids into orbit around it.

I'm sure there are places on Earth and on other planets where one could get the currency exchanged, for gold or other valuable minerals, if nothing else.

"There's no turning back" isn't quite as bad. Normally it's when you know there's trouble already, and while it pretty much guarantees trouble, it also often comes with success.
