~Previously, on Legacy: Everyone is stupid. Exodus shows up at the JGSHL accusing the faculty and Wolverine of leaving Utopia and thus endangering the species. BlahblahblahFIGHT. Rogue suggests Exodus should read their minds to understand the Schism. Exodus agrees and reads her and Wolverine. What he takes from them is that Cyclops is to blame by endangering Hope.

Decides to go to Utopia to kill him.

Wolverine and Rogue have an argument on how they should deal with Exodus - which you can read all about here - http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=11508 - because otherwise I'll go over the limit of pages.

But to sum it up: Rogue thinks they should warn Utopia. Wolverine thinks they should clean up their own mess and that warning Cyclops/Utopia will only make things worse.

Both happen. Rogue sends them a message and then joins the rest of Gold team to try and take-down Exodus.

It doesn't go very well.

Logan's attitude here is ridiculous.

pretty much. i don't get what gage was trying to do, tbh. i know that this is practically a rogue solo book and she's portrayed as the most sensible one at all times, but logan is making zero sense.

the part about magneto in particular came so out of left-field to me. because while rogue was having a girl talk about relationship woes with rachel in the previous issue, it's just not something i can see logan giving much of a damn about? idk.

i just... can't see wolverine jumping from "rogue warned utopia" to "SHE MUST BE DOING IT BECAUSE SHE MISSES MAGNETO!! PERSONAL FEELINGS!!!".

i mean... what?

everybody on this book seems suuper interested in rogue's love life, giving it a ridiculously amount of thought. which, fine, practically a rogue sole book, everyone else is supporting cast. but wolverine? really, tho?

Agreed, but keep in mind that gossip is an important glue for larger social groups.

Also, as I've said many times, the Schism is a divorce. They were in the "shock" phase earlier, now they're both entering the "anger" phase and negotiating when it's permissible to talk to those dirty rats on the other side. Misplaced anger and outrageous accusations of both blame and favoritism come with the territory.

I just find it funny that no one in the teams has been doing the, "You're dating Magneto? Ewww, he's like, five hundred years older than you!" thing since that is like the main complaint that I've noticed from comic fans when they are against Mags/Rogue.

as someone who really dislikes rogueneto, i find it funny that they're discussing it this much at all.

rogue and magneto barely talk. magneto never mentions her in other books.there wasn't even a scene where we see rogue changing her mind about magneto being a one-night stand to a semi-steady thing in legacy. at this rate, there'll be more pages devoted to characters referencing and discussing this (mostly off-panel) relationship than actual scenes of rogueneto being relationshippy.

Many things would be more nuanced without all these ridiculous "events". Relationships are the worst hit.

Surge did, but she's a kid. I find it hard to take an adult with that complaint seriously, especially in the MU.

Well, they have randomly thrown in a Logan/Rogue attraction before in the past. Maybe Wolvie is jealous? He's all like, "Yes! She's finally gotten rid of the Cajun! Wait...she's with Magneto now...NOOOOOOO!"

....Okay, I highly doubt it, but I find it funny, nonetheless. :p

The explanation that makes the most sense to me is that Logan is still angry about how things went down in the Schism, and the idea of having to call for help from Scott is a fairly massive wound to his pride.

but logan wasn't really that angry after the schism? neither was scott imo. it was a fairly civilized break-up. and even if logan is angry all of a sudden, to the point where he'd let pride put the lives of those in utopia at risk, i still don't buy him immediately jumping to accuse rogue of being compromised by her ~personal feelings for someone who sided with scott?

jubilee sided with scott. as did his fellow avenger storm. idk.
