Remember how in last issue of Batman: Odyssey we saw this....

Apparently rather.... final appearance by the Boy Wonder, as Batman cheerfully detonated his sidekick.

(Click on the image above to be reminded of the scene)

Gosh well that explains... absolutely bugger all if truth be told!

I actually assume it's something like the "Decoy Robin" in the Lego Batman game

I STILL have no clue what ANY of this comic is about....

I absolutely have to believe that this is an experiment on Adams' part--"I'm just going to up the first things that come to mind in a few minutes, collect a paycheck, and see how long it takes before DC notices!"

OH GOD, BATMAN'S FACE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FIRST PAGE.

SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT ABOUT THAT FACE!

That's what happens when you scare the string out of someone's knees.

What the hell does that even mean?
nezchan: Aneurysm time! (blown mind)

Even so, that's one wacky phrase.

Well, it's a lot LESS wacky than the rest of the book, but still.

Puts me in mind of Mike Doughty describing his style of music as "Slacker Jazz".

Whew I needed that.

I stopped reading Odyssey about issue #3 when I could make no sense whatsoever out of the narrative. Normally I WOULD get it because, well, Robin, but .... wow.

This...this...

This is something.

I'm really not sure what, but it sure is something.

The urge to quote Simon Tam is almost irresistible. 'This is what going mad feels like.'

Well, I'm 99% sure I was sane before reading this. (At least 20% saner than Adams was when writing it, in any case.)

Speaking of weird phrases, does anyone actually say "hairy eyeball" any more? That was archaic when I was a kid.

I have to wonder if Batman's commentary and facial expressions are how Bruce thinks he comes across.

I've got a lot of things to say about Batman: Odyssey, but I must say it is nice to see Batman lovingly ruffle Robin's hair like a regular kid. Can't say I've seen that recently.

Also, I loved LEGO Batman. The very first thing my kid cousin and I did when we played it was to see if we could make Batman and Robin fight each other. Great for some lazy weekend fun.

This is... something. I'm not entirely sure what, exactly, but definitely something. Also, I think there is something wrong with... I was going to say Bruce's face in the last panel of the first page, but really, most of the faces are wonky.
