i haven't been a big fan of Jim Lee's Cyborg redesign. I prefer the Justice League Doom version

Isn't the JL: Doom pretty similar to Flashpoint's Cyborg?

no they are pretty different. Justice LEague Doom Cyborg is big but not nearly as big and you can see he is more human and not all machine. And his abilities are more capabilities are more clearly defined and versatile. This Cyborg got created and thrown right in the fight. With just his huge sonic canon. Than he did the whole bomb tube feat saving the world

I just like how he looks more like an actual cyborg now, instead of a high school wrestler with metal on his face.

You bring up a good point about Jim Lee's design when comparing it with Doom. To be honest, the reason I'm rarely a fan of Jim Lee is that he has a great tendency to OVER design. It's got to be bigger, flashier, and unnecessary. He designed nearly all of the new 52, didn't he? If so, I point you to Deathstroke, for one. Or Superman's armour.

But then you compare it with Cyborg from Doom here. And it's simplistic. You can still tell he's a cyborg (and still THE Cyborg)and it doesn't look like he's wearing metal bendy straws on his fingers.

Btw, I happen to be a fan of both Lee's redesign of Cyborg and JL Doom Cyborg. Hell I like Cy's design in the Teen Titans animated series. The design I never really liked was the original. I liked Cyborg, but was not feeling his look.
