I love how Jack is just allowing the hug, not participating. Nothing in this issue, but I can see him and Jack getting along nicely as fellow hell-raisers.

Or maybe he could just hang out with Dr Nemesis, who also appreciates science and a good nut-punching as battle tactics.

I liked this, but one thing threw me off: shouldn't Power Pack be older? As I understand it, Alex is currently 19. That means that the rest of them should be no younger than 11 or 12.

Julie should be about 16/17
Jack should be about 15
Katie about 12

Jack is the only one who looks far too young here.

Personally I blame any other inconsistencies in age on proximity to Franklin. His sister should be like 2.

Fair enough, although I think Katie also looks too young, more like 8 than 12.

Indeed. Any and all inconsistencies can be blamed on Franklin. It's a writer's dream :)

I'm just glad they're taking this opportunity with Franklin's background as a reality warper. We can only hope he interacts with Deadpool at some point for guidance as a fourth wall deconstructor.

Franklin's power is an easy out for artists who seem to draw all kids the same. I'm looking at these panels and Franklin looks barely older than Val (who should still be a pre-schooler at best) and Franklin was already 6-8 when she was BORN. I don't get why Marvel is so reluctant to let Franklin age to a teenager at least, they have no problem aging Val.

Kinda hoping Franklin's reality warping isn't responsible for that.

I kinda love the release schedule of these two titles. I love that when they split the story into two titles, the characters also split into two groups. And they release both titles on the same day, so you get to immediately see the same event from two POVs. And I love that when the kids were reunited last week in Fantastic Four #603, there was no FF released that week. It actually makes sense!
