Huntress #6 Preview
So. About whether or not Helena Wayne actually killed the Kufra dictator in the last issue?

Welp, that answers that question.
Needless to say this is the part where Ibn Hassan orders the hit on Huntress.

And so it begins...
Damnit! Is it Wednesday yet? Helena stop being so sexy! The wait is killing me. XP
On another note, this note from Paul Levitz seems to imply Helena Wayne was Helena Bertinelli for a good portion of her time on the main DCU Earth:
Huh...on that note, I think I finally understand why Helena burns her Helena Bertinelli passport on the first page of Worlds' Finest. I take this to mean Huntress #6 will mark the official "death" of Helena Bertinelli and will have to "disappear" as such? (Which would be pretty pointless since she'll still be operating as Huntress on the main DCU Earth anyway?) Still sucks cause I wanted "Helena Bertinelli" to at least maintain a presence, but I guess this is for the best when you consider Helena B fans are still not happy about the change (and I can't say I blame them). XP

“Wayne or Bertinelli …or perhaps both?” series writer Paul Levitz said exclusively to THE SOURCE. “What a lively debate erupted as this mini-series evolved, including in the DC halls as we discussed how best to fit perhaps DC’s most determined adventurer into the world of the New 52, and into the as-yet-unleashed new Earth 2. Readers argued over nuances of her behavior as well as deliberate clues, and their reactions helped shape the stories. In the end, the answers will take a few more tales to tell, and will be revealed in the upcoming WORLDS’ FINEST series, which will pick up one flight after the last page of HUNTRESS #6. And it’s a safe bet that the reveals will surprise everyone before we’re done.”

"Yeah she is a Lesbian, we get It, there is nothing more to her, Cass was a so much better character" Then Rucka gave us ELEGY, then everyone swallowed their words.
Helena Wayne existence doesnt mean Helena Bertinelli is gone, Is just that Snyder has not used her yet ;-)
We can have both Helenas and be a happy family this is not a bussines competition! And so far this Helena Wayne is promising, Im still pissed off that instead of "leting him died" as the real Helena Wayne had done (as she never showed concern for the fact a criminal could die but for the fact she prefered see them in court facing the people) this Helena pulled the thrigger.
The subtle difference changes everything, of course the whole death thing can be retconed, maybe he fell in the water and Helena did not bother in rescuing him, then add the cheap shark and you are done.
The thing is this Helena Wayne still is another Woman Kicking Ass and while more we have of them the better.
