Preview of Wonder Woman #7

I just stumbled across this preview while browsing ComicVine and I just wanted to say how much I love Cliff Chiang's art!

Like in this bottom panel, Diana looks like she has some real muscle around her midsection. I imagine she has killer six-pack abs under that costume! And this might just be an effect of the perspective, but she appears to be quite broad-shouldered (which I also love!). Her legs look quite toned and her arms actually look muscular as well. All in all one of my favorite representations of Diana ever!

The other characters also look great (see "reasonably proportioned"). I especially like Eros' design since a blond man with the golden pistols and a fabulous scarf is certainly an interesting take on a figure typically portrayed as a chubby angel wielding a bow and arrow.

Also like the caduceus Hermes is holding and using as a light source. Mundane utility is always awesome to me. :D

For the rest of the preview, go here

PS If anyone else could share or direct me to their personal favorite depictions of Diana? Or even any other comic characters? I would be most appreciative.

Don't presume to know why I read anything... I love wonder woman in this book. She is kick ass, fierce, has this strong noble dignity, but also has this unique sense of humor. And she is intelligent, the plan she came up with just to distract and then blind her was like a game of chess. brilliant. So yeah, I like her supporting characters, but I love wonder woman

A game of chess that was played brilliantly? She was face to face with Hera and just left.

Yeah, I thought having that cold blooded half sister of hers tag along was hilarious. Obviously one who murders, fools others into murdering their comrades and mock them as they make their peace is truly someone who should be by Wonder Woman's side. Seriously, I thought that was funny.

I think the idea is that the Gods, with the power that they have, can basically just do whatever the hell they want, so it's not like Diana could really stop her. Besides, it was really only for half-an-issue at most, and it seemed to me that she genuinely did want to befriend Diana, but, being who she was, she just couldn't help but spread discord and suggest terrible things.

Apparently we read different books, or interpreted things differently. Either way, we are obviously not going to agree. you clearly don't like this book, you hadn't made that more than clear every time a new issue comes out. I don't feel like fighting. You are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to mine. I don't feel like continuing this, conversation, feel free to continue it if you want. Have a pleasant st.patrick's day.
