yeah the petey pureheart for a kid in the foster system was the only thing i didn;t like... it was too... i don;t know it struck me wrong...

It's the thing that made the story. Without it, it's a different story.

again, id on't agree. according to below he wass till a good kid in First Thunder, but was no petey pureheart.

Actually, he is pretty Petey Pureheart. They do make a note of the fact that he actively isn't in the foster system, though he uses connections he made while in the system to stay alive. A big part of First Thunder Billy is that he knows there's a difference between believing the best about people in general and giving them the benefit of the doubt. (The man with the white van is probably a perfectly nice dude, but I'm going to avoid him just in case he isn't.)
