He was mind controlling the majority of Utopia too, or at least influencing them. He was being a hypocrite and he was ugly, so the fact that he had a point just got completely glossed over.

Unfortunately that will be the case. Now if he went about in a totally different fashion Hope would be the one portrayed in a negative light to everyone on Utopia.
