I'd actually think Magneto would be the bigger deal, as he was shown to be able to fight off the mental control of Amahl Farouk back during the initial Shadow King storyline. His mental defenses are supposed to be good enough that even Xavier has trouble taking him down psychically.

Magneto's latent/defensive psychic powers have mostly been retconned by now though, in favour of movie verse helmet's tech (when it comes to resisting Xavier).
