Velocidad tells her that they didn't follow her because she controlled them, but as soon as I read that my reaction was "How would you ever know, if the whole point is that she'd influencing your decisions without being aware of it?"

How can they ever trust her again?

legitimate concern. that's the case with most telepaths though, i don;t think any of them have even NOT controlled a teammate....

as far as how would they ever know? Hope said she only realized what she was able to do after activating all the lights. when they first were saved by Hope they willingly followed her. before she actually started influencing them all they had was a connection. Hope could sense them, they could sense her, they were aware of this connection but sure what it was.

at least that is how i understood it....
