Remember when Alan Moore revealed how the daemonites lost the war in Wildcats? And how, despite being part of the Wildcat's central concept and main enemies, no one cared about them afterwards?

You'd think that the old Image writers would have remembered that, and learned their lesson.

Yeah. How the Wildcats as a book somehow got BETTER after leaving the crappy initial concept behind is obviously too much for Jim Lee to wrap his thick skull around.

Everything from Moore's run onwards (and especially Casey's stuff) was better than the earliest stories.
