FF #17 Preview...Can't be the only one who noticed this.

Okay, I'm not really super-obsessive about pairings in these comics, and I usually have to have some subtext pointed out to me, but with this little wordless preview of FF #17, coming out next month, about Peter Parker and Johnny Storm being roommates...well, just look for yourself.

Peter Parker being served breakfast by Johnny Storm wearing nothing but a speedo and a cooking apron? I'd have to be blind not to notice that.

So thank you, S_D, y'all done ruined me. :P

Well, my roommate and I usually make each other breakfast and go around semi-naked or just in underwear and a t-shirt and slip into each other's beds and

you may think I'm kidding, but I'm not. This happens quite a bit with me and my roommate. One of us rushing to dress and the other one making breakfast.... and I think the semi-nakedness stems from the fact that they're besties.

The logical, in-character explanation is probably that with Johnny's ability to emit heat, he probably doesn't need to wear a whole lot of clothes in the first place (a semi-early issue of F4 had the team going to the polar ice cap, everyone wearing heavy snow gear...except for Johnny, wearing swimming shorts, sandals, and a Hawaiian shirt, melting the snow as he walked).
