I don't see why anyone is especially worried about Genesis.

So he's a kid with incredibly destructive power. In the Marvel Universe, there are plenty of those running around even after M-day, and Genesis probably isn't even among the ten most dangerous ones. Frankly the new Hellfire club lead by evil genius teenagers is more worrisome.

I don't think they're worried about his power. They're worried about whom he's a clone of.

Are they worried that he still has Apocalypse's memories or something? I'd make fun of that, but in comics I guess that is a legitimate concern.

Well there are people like the Clan Akkabba, who once they realize who Evan is are going to try to brainwash him or find a way to give him all of Apocalypse's memories.

Yeah, one of the reasons Apocalypse was such a huge threat despite not actually being the most powerful mutant the X-men have faced (though he's certainly very powerful) is that he has a cult of fanatics and a truckload of Celestial technology.

Now I'm getting flashbacks to Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow and the insane cult that wanted to make the hero (Dracula's reincarnation) reclaim the Dark Lord mantle.
