Date: 2012-04-06 03:14 pm (UTC)There was no need for a WWII Wonder Woman, as there never had been one, and having one retconned in all kinds of annoyances, like the fact that Diana was now NOT the first Wonder Woman, she was just another like the one in WWII. (This presumably also retconned in Diana having no interest in knowing who this predecessor of hers was as she never tried to find out).
