ComicBookResources has the preview of this issue, as Wolverine finally gets some payback for the Silver Samurai debacle.

And the resurrected Sabretooth is in as many comics as Wolverine is.

But we are not here for that, we are hear for moments when people interact.

Sabretooth is celebrating his rise to power as the new Lord of crime in Japan, taking over the hand and the Yakuza factions.

What KIND of party, Logan.

Say, aren't you supposed to be dead?

It just seems lazy they had to take a perfectly good corpse, and reverse what little personality he had to essentially turn him into someone who is completely different anyway. Hell, make him an Exiles type alt-Sabretooth if you have to, but bring the old one back to be someone else is... not good.

Right--there's certainly nothing wrong with wanting to take a character in a new direction if it's a semi-logical evolution, and there's even some really old precedence for Sabretooth not being a lone wolf killer--in his very first appearance (in the Claremont/Byrne Iron Fist), he was running his own mercenary group--but how he got back to that point needs to be touched on.

And while we're talking about character continuity: Steve Dillon, please. Mystique looks like some random woman dipped in blue paint and Sabretooth looks like Blonde Lincoln.
