Wolverine #304 preview

ComicBookResources has the preview of this issue, as Wolverine finally gets some payback for the Silver Samurai debacle.

And the resurrected Sabretooth is in as many comics as Wolverine is.

But we are not here for that, we are hear for moments when people interact.

Sabretooth is celebrating his rise to power as the new Lord of crime in Japan, taking over the hand and the Yakuza factions.

What KIND of party, Logan.

Say, aren't you supposed to be dead?

That would probably be Bloodscream (yeah, I know, he showed up in the early 90s afaik :P)
Not that much to say about him really;
A bonesaw under Sir Francis Drake who was fally wounded during a naval battle and transformed into a vampiric being by Sir Francis's personal voodoo hougan. (apparently that was how Sir Francis rolled)
The spell is only partly completed, and only the blood of a undying man (Logan?) can transform him from his vampiric existance into a true immortal.
afaik Logan killed (or mortally wounded) him with the yashida clan honor blade forged by masamune (which may be the same sword he used to behead sabretooth, but who can tell when Loeb is involved)

He started as Bloodsport, and has had at least two reasons for seeking the blood of an immortal man - first because the original potion that changed him might lose power over time and second that the blood might change him back. And yes, Logan did kill him with the Honor Sword. Twice.

It's not the same one, though, since he fetched the Masamune Blade he later used from Masamune himself.

Just so's we're clear, there is no part of that sentence I don't love and want to fed steak and chips to.

I know how you feel!
Despite being a pretty hardcore Wolverine fanboy at the time when I read those particular parts of his background story, even I paused and thought
' To hell with Wolverine, I wanna read more about Sir Francis Drake and his awesome voodoo related adventures in the Carribeans'
