Isn't someone trying to kill Damian something of a given, what with how the kid is both a Robin and manages to collect enemies like a glue-coated bowling ball rolling down a hill of feathers?

• The stunning conclusion to “THE COURT OF OWLS” epic!
• All is revealed in “THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF WAYNE.”
This issue is also offered as a combo pack edition with a redemption code for a digital download of this issue.

As good as this series is, the fact that it doesn't REALLY seem to be have any effect on what's going on in the other Bat titles beyond a couple of tie-ins kind of drains the effect, no? I mean, the Court of Owls might have an effect in Batman and Nightwing, but they don't seem to having an effect in Batman Inc or Dark Knight as they've got their own things to get on with.

BATMAN AND ROBIN #11

Written by PETER J. TOMASI
Art and cover by PATRICK GLEASON and MICK GRAY
On sale JULY 11 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• DAMIAN makes good on his decision to defeat each ROBIN, and in a brilliant show of arrogance, starts with RED HOOD!
• The army of BATFREAKS is dead set on avenging their plight starts with the people of Gotham City!

Not really THAT arrogant, I mean Jason might be willing to use lethal force but he's arguably the least skilled of the Robins. He's not got the experience or acrobatic ability of Dick, nor the smarts, tech savvy etc. of Tim.

BATWING #11

Written by JUDD WINICK
Art by MARCUS TO and RYAN WINN
Cover by MARCUS TO
On sale JULY 4 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• BATWING faces off against the deadly Beijing gangster dragon known as LONG!
• Guest-starring NIGHTWING!
• BATWING’S armor is equipped with a new array of Bat-gadgets!

Again, why isn't Cass in this storyline?

BATGIRL #11

Written by GAIL SIMONE
Art by ARDIAN SYAF and VICENTE CIFUENTES
Cover by STANLEY “ARTGERM” LAU
On sale JULY 11 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• Part two-of the introduction of KNIGHTFALL – BATGIRL’S deadliest foe yet!
• BATGIRL takes on three new foes – the henchmen of GOTHAM CITY’S new super-villain, KNIGHTFALL!

Le gasp! Not... HENCHMEN! D: Points deducted for overuse of the word "foe" but the cover's nice.

CATWOMAN #11

Written by JUDD WINICK
Art and cover by GUILLEM MARCH
On sale JULY 18 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T+
• On the trail of DOLLHOUSE!
• CATWOMAN and her new partner, SPARK, take their relationship to a very intimate level!
• How will this affect Catwoman’s secret partnership with DETECTIVE ALVAREZ?

...Intimate how, exactly?

RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS #11

Written by SCOTT LOBDELL
Art and cover by KENNETH ROCAFORT
On sale JULY 18 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• “DEAD SPACE” continues!
• STARFIRE is unleashed in an epic space battle!
• THE OUTLAWS take on BLACKFIRE and her new allies, THE BLIGHT!

Roy's still rocking the trucker hat, I see.

DEATHSTROKE #11

Written by ROB LIEFELD
Art and cover by ROB LIEFELD
On sale JULY 11 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T+
• DEATHSTROKE, ZEALOT and the OMEGAS vs. LOBO!
• DEATHSTROKE races to find the crashed STARPOINT cruiser and the ship’s WORLD BREAKER protocol!

Phew, good thing that I know that this is Liefeld, otherwise the alternate explanation for Lobo's strained expression would not be that pleasant for Slade.

ALL-STAR WESTERN #11

Written by JUSTIN GRAY and JIMMY PALMIOTTI
Art by MORITAT
Backup story art by SCOTT KOLINS
Cover by RAFA GARRES
On sale JULY 25 • 40 pg, FC, $3.99 US • RATED T+
• JONAH HEX and TALLULAH BLACK face the Lord of Assassins’ steam-powered death machine.
• Introducing TERRENCE 13 in a new backup story!

Steam-Powered Death Machine is totally going to be the name of my Steampunk-themed metal band. Also, I hope that Terrence 13 is related to Dr Thirteen and Traci in some way, because a Charles Fort-type person in the 19th Century DCU would be kind of neat. :) And if you don't know who Charles Fort is, he's both cool AND appeared in Atomic Robo some time ago.

WONDER WOMAN #11

Written by BRIAN AZZARELLO
Art and cover by CLIFF CHIANG
1:25 B&W Variant cover by CLIFF CHIANG
On sale JULY 18 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• A new story begins as APOLLO makes his play for ZEUS’S throne – and WONDER WOMAN is the last obstacle in his way!
• As ZOLA goes into labor, a hideous secret is revealed!

Okay, people's misgivings about this series aside, this is one badass cover. And considering the secrets that have been revealed thus far, I do have to wonder what makes this secret so hideous. Like did Zeus decide to copy Seth the superhillbilly from Authority, and the reason why he disappeared was that he'd turned himself into a sperm and has been hiding inside Zola all of this time?

GREEN ARROW #11

Written by ANN NOCENTI
Art by HARVEY TOLIBAO
Cover by HOWARD PORTER
On sale JULY 4 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T
• Beginning a new story in which OLIVER QUEEN returns to action in Seattle to discover that the city has fallen into the gutters during his absence.
• Who are the DARK ARROWS?

Yup, he's evil, look at that goatee!

"Isn't someone trying to kill Damian something of a given, what with how the kid is both a Robin and manages to collect enemies like a glue-coated bowling ball rolling down a hill of feathers?"

I would think this more has to do with the bounty set on Damian's head by his own mother at the end of the Leviathan Strikes special (or at least, still trying to figure out what part of that is new 52 canon and not)

"Not really THAT arrogant, I mean Jason might be willing to use lethal force but he's arguably the least skilled of the Robins. He's not got the experience or acrobatic ability of Dick, nor the smarts, tech savvy etc. of Tim."

The same Jason who had a great run taking over the gangs of Gotham? The same Jason who went head to head against Bats pre-Infinite Crisis? The same Jason who in the new 52 seems to have those same skills and has now been trained by some super secret mostly immortal race?

I would hardly call him the least skilled Robin.

Agreed. Jason was compared to be near equally skilled as Dick pre-boot towards the end. His only weak point was that he can get emotional enough where it hampers his skills.

if anything, Damian is the least skilled robin, being the newest one and having even more emotional baggage than Jason. Jason seems tobe a bit more zen where as Damian is like "I did good daddy? I did good? damnit daddy listen to me!... what no... i... are those my fingers in this man's skull.... no... it's a dummy... a very realistic dummy... daddy...?"

Agreed with you there on Damian being the least skilled.

I put my hopes on Jason winning because he'll have the advantage of having long range weaponry. However it'll probably end up with no guns involved so Jason can just take Damian's toys away and do the classic big brother tactic of holding your littlest sibling at arms-length while they swing wildly at you!

...I would buy 3 copies of this issue if that happens.

nothing agains damian, when written right, and consitently, he's an interesting character... but as far as hunting the Robins, little brother is going to go down faster than a sailor on shore leave :D

....Well my mind just went somewhere bad for a second after reading that.

Anyway, I have to admit hunting down your older siblings and beating them seems like a thing Damian WOULD do. In fact, it sounds like something I would do as youngest of my sibling (Little Jun Age 10: "Beat me at Clue would you?!" *flails weakly at older siblings* "Taste my might and skill!").

Let's just say that imagining Damian in a little sailor outfit trying to flirt with women (for science? for bats? for bat-science?) is not your fault. It's my brain's fault.

You think? Years of dedicated indoctorination by the League of Assassins; including multiple forms of martial art, fighting blindfolded, forensic accountancy of international corporations, mechanically gifted (He perfected Bruce's designs for the flying Batmobile) and more training with Dick in acrobatics and teamwork.

I don't even LIKE Damian, but I'd probably put him above Jason in a no holds barred, no rules fight.

i think that he lets his emotions get in the way (Yes jason has too, but he seems to be able to put his emotions on the backburner) the other robins have skills as well as cleaverness. would he put up a fight? yes a damn good one. but i don't think he would win/

If Jason lost his rag to the extent of assaulting Tim solely because he replaced him (and because he didn't get a statue in Titans Tower) then I think Damian just needs to say that "I not only replaced you, I'm his ACTUAL son" and watch Jason blow a blood vessel.

Jason has a lot of buttons to push, and lord knows Damian can push buttons just by opening his mouth.

except the current Jason HAS sorta delt with his rage. True, it's a button he doesn't like pushed, but he has been shown to be more incontrol of his temper than before the reboot. Damian on the other hand still seems like his temper is an issue.

Well that doesn't count for much - you don't like Jason either! :P

Even as a huge Jason fan, I wouldn't necessarily deny that he's the least 'skilled' Robin in most respects, but that's largely because he had the shortest tenure.

I give him high props for pragmatism, native cunning and improv though. And for theft of tires. and hearts.

He may be the least skilled, but only by elimination, and it's debatable.
Regardless, he's been trained by the League of Assassins (but who hasn't?) and Batman. He probably fights like Damian but better and dirtier. And more guns.

Agreed. In fact, a fight between Jason vs Damian would be a very interesting one to see.

Also if Damian seriously has a bounty on his head in the New 52, then I guess that would make him the second batkid to have one?
