Tony's one of my favorite characters but I have to disagree with this, tbh. Fraction didn't really have Tony dealing with anything, he had Thor being pissed at him, a brief period of people being a little mean and then a couple of hallucinations. Tony didn't grow or change as a character at all post-CW imo, unless you count coming off as an even bigger arrogant ass. There was so much that could have been done post-CW and Fraction did none of it; instead what we got was Tony basically going "I don't remember why I did any of this but since I'm me, I must have been right."

And really making Tony forget everything pretty much invalidated one of the defining moments of that event for him (and one of the only saving graces from that event for me) - Tony admitting that even if he thought'd he'd been right at first, everything he'd lost during the mess "wasn't worth it." It actually still makes me mad that Fraction took what was a good chance at Tony learning from his mistakes (and I don't mean being pro-reg because that is really the least awful thing he did) and losing some of the chip on his shoulder that he'd gained through that and basically wasted it for absolutely no reason.
