maybe. and i could see it going there.... but it seems too... easy.... why does she have to be a devil or a messiah.... why can't she just be Hope...

also, the power IS coming to her... so i see her being more pragmatic about it "Okay, well im on fire.... might as well go with it..."

That actually seems pretty likely. Ideally she'll take control of the Phoenix, uses its power to undo M-day, then immediately send it away to the farthest reaches of space where it can never hurt anyone again.
