There's also a reason Wolverine fought Cyclops and opened up the JG school.

and its also why he continued to use x-force... while opperating under a school...

don't get me wrong... i love x-force, really they are doing what needs to be done... i just htink they should stop thinking they are above shit like that....

I'm not saying that some hard choices (done by hard men and all that overly self-justifying crap) need never be done; I'm saying Wolverine seems to have been jumping the gun before getting enough data on the topic, which when it concerns the life & death of a teenage girl is frankly appealing.

I think Wolverine has been mentally preparing himself to do this since he met her and just wants to get this aweful business over with, because that is the only way I can justify him killing a teenager with this little turmoil.
Wolverine's biggest flaw might be that he has such a low opinion of himself already that he'll do just about anything.

actually this was explictly stated a while back when Hope was kidnapped by the guy who looked like Cable (at least he looked like cable to me) WOlverine said that he knew that if it came down to it, it would be him that had to pull the trigger and he didn't want to get close to her because of that. so yeah, he has been mentally preparing himself for this since then.

i still think that assuming that is not giving himself enough credit, but still...

I'm not sure I can bring myself to care for his manpain if he does things like that.

It doesn't make me care either, but I won't care for anyone in this mess untill it starts killing off favorites for shock value. Then I'll just be mad and sad.
I'm just saying that's the only way I can reconcile his actions with his character.
