...Nope. It pretty much enhances, quite frankly. I mean, "Someone was a wildman last night?" Hickman has to know what he's doing. He HAS to.

Wow, this actually makes them come off as more of a couple than the unlettered version. (Maybe.) Color me surprised.

Still, Johnny is one of my top three people who should end up with Peter, so good for them. (The other two being MJ and She-Hulk. Pete and Shulkie should hang out more any way, they have great chemistry.)

...Context makes this look more like they're in a relationship, not less. Which is fine by me; there are rather few characters who I do ship Peter with, and Johnny is one of them (Mary Jane is another). This is cute.

I have always wanted a comic of Spidey, Torch, and Iceman just hanging out, sharing a flat, and (occasionally) fighting crime. Throw in Bobby and I will buy this 10x.
