Nice Comicbook Moments - How Zatanna Met Bruce

From Paul Dini's Detective Comics run, Bruce has a flashback to his first birthday following his parents' deaths. Understandably he's depressed, with even his best friend Thomas Elliot not doing anything to help cheer him up, luckily the daughter of a friend of his folks' is there to try and make his day a little brighter.





...Except with how he did forgive her, roughly an issue after this scene.

Hm, probably should post a bit of the Adventure of Zatanna's, Bruce's and Hush's Parents from Streets of Gotham at some point, as it actually was interesting. Even though it came with (dun dun dun) yet another possible Joker origin.

As much as I dislike how much of a Zatanna-enthusiast Dini can be at times, righting the wrongs of Identity Crisis was a good move.

Seriously, I loved Dini's run on Detective, but I wish he'd either gotten Dustin Nguyen sooner or managed to keep JH Williams III for more than one issue. I could never get behind this art.

Righting the wrongs of Identity Crisis was an easy job. People exagerate the problems that Identity C. created.

Dini is a good writter, his work on Green Lantern Corps is great, the Green Lantern TAS owes much to Dini´s ideas

It was more her tinkering with his mind (something she was bullied into by the older League members like Hawkman by the by) during the events of Identity Crisis that he's referencing, not her attempts to cheer him up during a sad birthday party.

Ah. Now that is something Bruce would be angry over. Not only can he not copyright the word to his ownership, he can't do it in the awesome voice the way she did.

I think I know this one.. saw the scans for it somewhere... Something about them memorywiping Dr. Light(the male one) and them doing the same to him. I forgot the reason.

Oh yeah. Dr. Light went aboard the Watchtower at the start of his career and raped Sue Dibny. They voted to mess with his mind to prevent it from happening again, removing his memories of the incident, and Batman popped up to try to stop them. Zatanna went and erased his memories too.

That's what the last panel there is.

That one was also nice, kind of liked all of the songs in the finale to be honest. ^^;
