Date: 2012-04-26 04:38 pm (UTC)A vs. X may be amusing when the smoke clears but so far it's a lot like much Civil War was to me. A few interesting moments, but mostly a lot of people REALLY acting out of character so they can have their big super hero battle royale.
In a related note, this story makes no damn sense. I would think the odds of stopping Phoenix from destroying the Earth would be better with a host sympathetic to Earth trying to influence it. Odds are it wouldn't work, but what's stopping Phoenix from just trashing the planet now?

I guess they did not want to spend panels with a protracted argument between them that would make sense to lead to blows. But still... And this is Brubaker? Man, I expect more from him then this. I hope the preview is just making this look worse then it really is.
