Riderman or Yuuki Jyoji was the secondary Rider of the Kamen Rider V3 series. He was a scientist who worked for the organization Destron. One of the generals framed him for being a traitor and he was tortured causing him to lose his arm. After escaping he builds himself a multi-function cybernetic arm and a fancy mask and calls himself Riderman. He still tries to kill V3 on his own for a while to prove his innocence to Destron but eventually turns a new leaf just in time to sacrifice himself to stop a missile that was bound to destroy a city. At that point he was given the title of the Fourth Kamen Rider, this on it's own would be forgiveable but in a few chapters we will see something that will make this infuriating.
He would later show up in crossovers with other Showa Riders with no explanation on how he survived. This is how he supposedly survived.
We have a caption telling us this is Tahiti a few days after the end of Kamen Rider V3. Then we cut to a man running through a jungle.
Amnesiac Jyoji and disposable side character #3546 are chased off a cliff by a giant enemy crab.
They wash up on another beach somewhere else on the island.
The little girl and her Grandfather nurse Jyoji and Anrietta back to health. Some local thugs come by to rough up the Grandfather over some pearls but the girl gets in the way. Jyoji steps in.
We get some development on the part of the Anrietta but she's never going to show up again after this chapter so it's not important.
As they return home from their day of fun at the beach and painful memories they return back to the hut they come across the giant crab monster slaughtering the thugs from before. He also just so happens to be the general who framed Jyoji.
The little girl gives Anrietta the helmet while Jyoji gets his asskicked. Until...
Now with his memories returned do to the helmet somehow he proceeds to go to town on the Crab monster with his Drill Arm. It doesn't seem to be having much effect at first but then he attacks the weak spot for massive damage.
The crab monster is dead, Jyoji remembers his life and Anrietta lives on to be insignificant off screen, which is a step up from fridging but not much. Next time we take a look at the often forgotten Kamen Rider X.
