mistygeek: (Lady Blackhawk)
[personal profile] mistygeek posting in [community profile] scans_daily
"He was a man in total control - unapproachable, unforgiving, unfathomable. He was his own law and his own morality. He lived in a world dominated by an atmosphere of fatalism. He was the first comic book anti-hero." -- Jim Steranko's History of Comics

If you find these too small to read, I have bigger scans here. They are almost to 2mbs a piece, so please no hotlinking.

Ann is one of the lucky ones. Falling for Blackhawk is often fatal within the story.

Also, for those familiar with the Blackhawks I feel the need to add this, NOTHING HAPPENED TO THESE GUYS AFTER THE 1950S. NOTHING, I SAY. They all died of old age while fixing planes or battling villains. And Chop-Chop became a world famous cook that funded the whole Blackhawk Enterprise when not punching out criminals or helping little old ladies across the street.

"What if the Nazis didn't have the coolest uniforms in WWII?"

Even the Nazi's weren't sure about that on some occasions

You sly bastard, you! Was just thinking of this the other day, after watching the Librarian sketch.

[this was going to contain a reference of some sort, but dammit if there aren't too many good jokes]
