I hope Element Woman doesn't end up being as annoying Starman was in JSA. Geoff Johns doesn't do a very good job writing comically insane.

he wrote her pretty well in Flashpoint, imo.

I remember her dying in a particularly good Sandman/Death story. >.>

I thought she was created for Flashpoint. But, it's time-travel, so she could have just never died. So, yes?

She was actually a really old character, one of Metamorpho's extended cast.

Guess they brought her back for Flashpoint and someone decided she should be back in duDC!

The name "Element Woman" is the same, as are the powers, but I don't think they have anything else in common. I don't think this Element Woman was ever "Urania Blackwell".
