Oh yeah. His one act of dubious morality (which already puts him leagues ahead of his peers on that front) was the abduction of Persephone, which was pretty much how some Ancient Greek weddings were staged, and he was a gentlemen to her once he took her. That arrangement with Demeter was at least as much for Persephone's happiness as to placate the other gods.
