I seriously hope they're not because otherwise this just comes across as laying waste to some cheerfully old fashioned whimsy (in Kangaroo's case) and about the only Israeli hero they have ( in Sabra's case) and I had enough of that bullshit in the 90's.

Yeah, I don't have a lot of hope for the Kangaroo, but Crossbones vs. Sabra is kind of a mismatch. A neo-Nazi with guns against an Israeli Jew who gets really annoyed and kind of bruised when you shoot her? Even if she's meant to be dead in these pages, that's the most easily reversed death ever.

God I'm sick of C List fodder being used for cheap shock value. I mean, shit, the only reason we care about them is because of OTHER stories. Unless you build up sympathy for them IN the story you kill them off in, then you are DOING IT WRONG.
