ComicBookResources has the newest instructor to the Future Foundation.

today, the role of Johnny Storm will be played by Mark Harmon (circa 1987) from Summer School.

I bet the Avenger's Academy and Jean Grey School don't teach this....

*sigh* My faith is rewarded. It is good to be a Marvel zombie.

This is why I love Johnny Storm (and I loved Mark Harmon in Summer School too!). These kids are lucky. I'd much rather be taught by Johnny or Ben than anyone at the X or Avengers Academies.

I don't know. I would imagine any class taught by Wolverine would be ridiculously easy. Plus, random ninja battles.

Even though it was just a random, non-canon, one-page gag a few years ago, I have to cite the list of Wolverine's proposed syllabus for his required class:

"Week 5: Everyone gets a punch in the throat."
"Xavier's Red Marker Note: NO, LOGAN."

I honestly don't remember. It was the kind of thing which used to be in Wizard, but more likely was in a trade or some previews thing that they could cram that into.

Heh, Found It

Go Go Google! Awesome research work.

And now that I see that the class was "Advanced Field Survival" I think his ideas (besides the Cyclops lecture) are even more in the right.

Students are basically getting a CIA Black Ops level of education here. This is basically part of Prof. Logan's entire Department of Badassery curriculum.

That schedule convinced me that Wolverine is the worst person to be running a school ever. It ended with the vast majority of students dead.

Then again, the goal of every X-school seems to be killing all of the students, so...

He probably wrote it up to screw with Chuck.

Although his courses would probably be...unconventional, they wouldn't be outright lethal.

Logan may not show it much, but I've always read him as being pretty well read and a lot more intelligent than he makes himself out to be most of the time.

Ask him about, say, Japanese history and culture and I can easily imagine he'd be VERY knowledgeable.

True. But, if anything, he would be way to busy with the hundred books he appears in to make any homework.

Unless the lesson is how to appear in several hundred books at once. Then he's the world's leading expert.

I suppose he could assign people history homework where they have to try and find references to him in the past.

Like in Project Marvels he apparently spent some time in the 1930s or 40s wandering around in the woods of upstate New York as a kind of Big Foot-ish cryptid. Not sure why, presumably he was on a bender.

Yeah, I'm not sure if he's still got his memory back, but if he does he could teach 20th century history from a first-person perspective--all of it.
