Of course, this sort of depends on the psychopathic criminals actually caring/believing that Batman makes such a threat. And the first time they DO kill a civilian or an officer of the law and end up not-dead, well I suppose a temporary drop in the deathtoll is better than none.

Well, we all know that the Joker probably cares about such a threat. And the others.. Well, they've been getting away with it for years without fearing major repercussions from a Batman who won't kill. As such, I think the shock of such a sight would work.

It's a little bit like the ending of TDK, although this actually makes MORE sense.

The Joker would probably want to test it out to see if Batman would kill HIM, because Batman is the only one he feels is worthy of killing him.

Why does Joker have a thing under his feet? And the talking to Clark while nakedly banana is the smartest explanation I've seen yet for this book.

Also I'm pretty sure Catwoman doesn't even go there. She goes to Wayne Manor when she gets arrested. House arrest, rowr.

I......And Batman Odyssey ends with a panel of Superman flying.....I'm really glad I stopped picking this up. Though it is nice to find out who Bruce was talking to half-naked that whole time.
