Five childhood friends who used to play superheroes together meet up again after twenty years.

Bernard "Barnyard" Epstein has sent similar invitations and boxes to all of the old gang, inviting them to a Halloween party. They're flown in the day before Halloween and there's a group reunion. Epstein himself is nowhere to be seen though, instead leaving them a mysterious note. It tells them to sit tight and await further instructions the next day.



But "Green Lantern" (Bernard's chauffeur) drops them off in the middle of the road in broad daylight.











Following the trail of clues, the group eventually finds itself at Yankee Stadium.

I kept expecting a horrible grimdark plot twist. Like, literally up until the last panel. What a pleasant surprise!
