Journey Into Mystery #'s 633-636 featured Loki teaming up with Daimon Hellstrom to stop Nightmare, and the whole wacky adventure finally concluded with






No context, just...greatness.

so i read this chapter and it seems like loki's plan was to let all the fear lords fight over the insanely powerful crown forever and ever right? Not to doubt the master of trickery but...wouldn't that fail eventually? It can't possibly last for all of the rest of creation, so one of them is certainly going to get the crown and eventually rule the universe?

I had a story idea recently thinking about Nightmare. I use the name generically cause I think a lot of fictional universe have versions of the guy.

The idea would be that there's actually two Nightmares. One is a standard personification of an abstract concept. Does his job because it's his role in "life", he has no grand dreams of conquest. The other Nightmare is an actual nightmare of him and wants to replace all positive dreams or lock everyone in eternal sleep, standard villains stuff.
