Sounds like something of an Azrael/Manhunter (The Archie Goodwin/Walt SImonson one) notion... and it strikes me as a little odd that the recovering assasin for the court of Owls is about the only one in the whole damn Batfamily who is smiling on their cover!

Though I still find myself more than a little ambivalent about the title, I am assuming that whatever they come up with it has to be less of a mess than "Superboy Prime punched the walls of reality and fractured spacetime". I'm guessing that they'll adopt the "Under the Hood" movie explanation.

Hmmm, not sure about Tim being a "would-be Olympic Star" I liked him having to work harder at the physical stuff, computer genius is fine though.

In fairness, didn't Lobdell give us the Lazarus Pit as an explanation? Not perfect, but at least using existing Batverse concept.

(Personally I was never a fan of the Pit's amped up ability to restore the long dead to life, but I could see a good moment where Ra's comes to the Batcave and offers Batman the chance to use the Pit if he wishes, no strings attached. Now THAT is an ethical dilemma that would have been interesting to see Bruce deal with.)

Yar, as you said below that was Winnick/the movie. He wasn't particularly long dead in that version either.

But yeah, that does sound like a really interesting storyline. Would have liked to see that!
