Date: 2012-06-15 12:50 pm (UTC)i think they've only collected the fear itself tie-ins, which is a bummer because i think this is exactly the sort of series that reads even better in tpb.

Date: 2012-06-15 09:05 pm (UTC)Granted, when the action picked up I didn't notice it as much, but it was still annoying.

Shadow's big, Mr. Wednesday's thin, Mr. Nancy's fat and wears yellow...
IDK it got me through enough.

Date: 2012-06-16 05:15 am (UTC)Damn, then I've obviously been harboring false ideas.
Oh, wait, I got him mixed up with his son in the Anansi Boys. Who also wasn't really fat.
Eh, that aside, AG's still one of my favorites.

Date: 2012-06-16 07:56 pm (UTC)I enjoyed AG (although Neverwhere's still my favorite of his novels), and any complaints I had about it are more general complaints with Gaiman's tendency to rehash the same idea (at least as I see it). As a long-time fan of Odin and Loki's escapades as blood-brothers in mythology, I certainly enjoyed that aspect XDXDXD.
