It's funny--the first issue I thought had some fun moments but wasn't entirely sure of. Now, it's one of my favorite books in the New 52. Lobdell has all the characters down pat (outside of a...stumbling block in the first issue that I don't think needs to be gone over again), and Rocafort is a god-tier artist. It'll be a shame to see him leave the title, and whoever picks it back up has some big-ass shoes to fill.

Been liking TT too (the characters more so than the actual story), but Nightwing...eh. I thought the circus story was hackneyed and overblown, and the Night of the Owls story just lost me with the whole "gray son" stuff.

I'm aware of that, but I hadn't seen any confirmation that that meant he was off Outlaws (and I know that Lobdell isn't).

I'd say he looks sexy, the shiny armour costume just makes him look weird (It's a look that works in some cases, but not on Superman)

The shiny armor kinda helps in the hotness for me, so I guess it's a matter of different strokes. :D

All of Rocafort's men look sexy to me, generally. He's really good at drawing different types of men too (like the difference between Roy and Jason), and he just seems to have a really good sense of the sensuality in how men move and talk and hold themselves.

It's a pity that skill of his doesn't translate to his women so well!

I would assume so--Rocafort's been on time for his entire tenure on Red Hood, but I kinda doubt he'd be able to do two books at the same time, especially with the kind of detail he puts on the page.

Hmm, possibly. It's hard to guess what his max output rate is at this point, but yeah, more likely than not he won't be doing both. Still, I'm probably not going to assume either way without an actual announcement on the subject.

I think he maybe can do two comics at the same time. When we're looking to is panel or the entire book (Red hood, Velocity, etc) we can see that he draw fastwith all those line, but I'm seriously hoping that he do 2 books and I think that if he do that he'll be the first Artist in DC who didi 2 comic books at the same time, eh!?

Fair enough--from what I heard, a lot of the stuff like Velocity had heavy delays.

And yeah, he would be--in the New 52, at the very least. From what I've read, the fastest artist DC has right now is Capullo, who can do about 2-3 pages a day.

O.O you're not serious! Capullo wow, just wow! So I think I'll have competion when I'll be with DC (my biggest dream) for now when I do re-pencil of a page from a comic just for fun I take like all the day. At least I have all my time to becom faster. So if Greg Capullo is the first who's the second??

Actually, having finally read issues 8 & 9, I can say that I'm beginning to warm up to this title a little more.

It feels like Lobdell is still finding his characters' voices, but they have more continuity with their pre-reboot incarnations now.

What I liked with it from the very beginning was the feeling that they were taking these characters that had gone down problematic problems into an either different or more streamlined place.

I mean, look at where these characters were before the relaunch: Starfire was usually written as the creepy ex-girlfriend, Jason started off his resurrection in an interesting place but it seemed like Winnick and everyone else outside of Morrison ran out of ideas for him real quick, and need I even mention where Roy was?

Looking back, I can totally get why people were WTFing over the first issue, but moving Kory away from Dick (even though she still cares for him) and making her a more enigmatic outsider, putting Roy back to his more sober "living a day at a time" thing (even if it doesn't have Lian), and giving Jason his own personal mission that was more separated from the regular Bat-Family shenanigans, and having them all interact like a weird family unit was probably the best place to put them. At least, that's my opinion.
