Okay... ignoring the fact that I and other people on this board are fans of Barbara Gordon...

Im almost positive Calling for the maiming, humiliation, or whole sale murder of any character,and in this case a character who has a history of being mistreated within the industry potentially goes against everything this community stands for.

You don't have to like Barbara Gordon, you don't have to like Gail Simone, you don't have to like how Gail Simone currently writes her. But I think we can express our dislike without resorting to talk like this.

Two things:
1. Knigthfall doesn't even make sense thematically for Batgirl. It made sense for Batman because he's the "Dark Knight", but I can't say I've ever heard anybody refer to Barbara as anything Knight related. There's a Knightress (or, there was). I get it, but it's weird.
2. Didn't Knightfall end with Bruce's spine being broken? Anybody else find this more then a little, well, odd?

All I can think is what do they think will happen? I mean seriously. Even if they somehow take Babs... and they won't, then the Bat family falls upon them in an ass whooping so epic I almost cry.

I don't care what anybody says, but Ms. Muscle Lady in purple is really hot and totally approve of her belly window to show off those abs. :3

My problem with her costume is the fact that it seemingly changes shape depending on what angle you look at it from. From the side, the sides covers all the way down to her waist. From the back, not so much.

I like her. I like her leadership, her background knowledge, and her unfailing politeness, an underused sign of a powerful, intelligent, controlled personality in this day and ages. And she is totally hot.

The top is kinda dumb, but I love the dress she wore earlier.

Agreed. I had a brief moment of squee when she first appeared and I thought it might be Big Barda.

Also, picking the strapless pink dress to show off those shoulders? Excellent choice.

Do the Birds of Prey exist now? I don't follow the new 52, not sure what is still around.

ITA! Annnnddd.....my enduring criticism of this version of Batgirl/Babs continues, as she spends absolutely no time planning anything! She's basically reacting to the actions of others, and, while that's not particularly unusual for a costumed character, the fact that this person is the same person who was or might have become Oracle makes it more annoying when she behaves as if she is less intelligent, less prepared, and less cautious than almost any other member of the Bat Clan.

Okay, I like that there is a female bodybuilder here--it's always nice to see super-hero/villain women with actual muscles--and I don't mind her outfit. But I find her domino mask even more ridiculous than usual.

"Gee, I wonder if this seven-foot tall, exceptionally muscular woman with butt-length hair is the same as that other seven-foot tall, exceptionally muscular woman with butt-length hair? If only I could see the bridge of her nose! This woman might be Bajoran and not human at all!"

Who wants to bet Knightfall attempts to break Batgirl's back? Something with her spine.

The borrowing of the Knightfall arc name is blatent enough.

I really want to like this book but I just can't. It's such a shame. We gutted three awesome characters for this lukewarm book and its just a shame, that's really all I gotta say.
