One of the best parts of The Kingdom, IMO.

"Kingdom Come" I'd agree, "The Kingdom" not so much as, all other problems with the series to one side, her character arc appeared to be entirely dependent on not being grown up enough to realise that when her father promises her as a kid that he and her mother won't die, he wasn't being literal. That's the sort of thing most kids realise is the case years before she did, so her complaining about it did little to impress me.

In her defence many of her parents' friends died and got better. It's not completely unreasonable to assume they had some sort of plan to not stay dead.

Meanwhile, looking in from the outside, Jason quietly places his hand on the window. There is a brief moment of hesitation. After what feels like hours, Jason places a small giftbox on the front door and rings the doorbell. He flees out of sight before Bruce opens the door.

Bruce opens the small box to find a card inside. "Jesus christ," he sighs, "you couldn't even spring for a mug or something. What a terrible son." Bruce immediately throws away both the card and the box. Jason, again looking through the window, sheds a single tear.

Ah, Pre-Flashpoint Batfamily. How I miss thee. It's also why I don't get why Damien is back to being a snarky git with Dick. Dick more than earned Damien's respect during their time together as Batman and Robin.

Also, the strip with Kory's joyful proclamation of a bun in the oven is ten times funnier if you read it in Hynden Walch's voice.
