Nightwing #10 Preview

Nightwing have his fingerstripes back. I so missed those thing, but I don't like his new costume design, he will be more hard to sketch (plus I sketch him rarelly), and why protection he were more badass when he hadn't have it (what do think?)!! And I think this arc will be AWSOME!!!















When I first saw the issue 0 cover, dunno if you thought the same, I thought it was only for the issue 0 and it was his first Nightwing costume.

I comfirm he's kinda harder to draw honestly (I so knew it) I try to draw him for the Fanart Thursday, I restart three times

okay was able to see them on my phone.

as far as the costume... hmmm it does look like we have the half stripes. it goes down to his gauntlets instead of down to his fingertips. hmm i don't mind so much.never minded his new look much. it still always said :Nightwing" to me....

you have a point for this. But I kinda prefer the first arc costume cause its like a beginner costume to me (and I like beginner costume like Damian when he came fought Tim) (okay it was a homemade but its the same thing no?)

The stripes are not back

They are, they just aren't fingerstripes, they only run down the arm as far as the gauntlet.

I see no stripes. At best there is maybe one panel where they seem to run down his arm a littler farther.

Hmm, maybe you'd remember. There was a British-made kids' adventure show from about the same period (maybe as late as the mid-80's) that had to do with a group of kids stumbling across a secret project to create a large-scale sonic weapon. Of course the kids have to stop it, not get caught, etc. I recall the theme music was oddly addictive, appropriate I suppose for the subject matter.

Yes indeed, the adventures of the next step in human evolution as they started to appear in the modern world. (They referred to themselves as "Homo Superior", and as it turns out, the creator mentioned it to David Bowie, who was working with him at the time, and that's why it appears in Bowies "Oh, You Pretty Things")

Most developed their powers during puberty (It was known as "breaking out" as their powers ) They had the powers of telepathy (but most could only communicate with each other), telekinesis and teleportation (or "jaunting" as they called it) but this was balanced out by an inability to intentionally kill any sentient being.

Their base of operations was an old abandoned Underground station in London, hence nezchan's comment.

Its look kind of normal-cool. Now I got to compare Republic Of Tomorrow and The Tomorrow People (they maybe have a link each other?).

You know it's dumb what with all the other havoc the reboot has brought but Dick losing not only his fingerstripes but him getting stuck in red is one of the things that really, really bothers me. Just put it back, DC :/

I agree. I more liked him when the fingerstripes were blue

You're complaining he has armor? No matter how awesome Nightwing is, he's still human. A gunshot or something relatively minor can still kill him. Honestly, Nightwing having armor makes more sense to me.

I think that it looks so much like quite heavy duty armour that's the problem, Nightwing's major skills are derived from his acrobatic abilities. Something which looks like it's in any way inflexible sort of works against his "hook"

The lines of his outfit are cool, but I am still morally opposed to the red. /never gonna not complain
