Ok, quick question: Why do these zombies have ribbons around their eyes? Is it like an animating talisman or something?

Oh, well, I didn't specify, but they're all people who were artificially returned from the dead by a scientist/revolutionary who has absolutely no idea what he's done.

So they were like, specimens for resurrection... and they were all resurrected at once. So.

The blindfold, idk, because the rotted out eyeballs leave holes where the brains could fall out?

Or they could be like tags. To mark them as "test subjects". Not sure.
