Hmm,

Well there are demons that occasionally attack Metropolis - most notable are Blaze & Satanus - so in some cases it's actually quite appropriate.

Besides, isn't a fight between someone like Superman and Doomsday pretty much like all hell breaking loose?

P.S: I was going to say Darkseid was the most notable, but then I realized he's an evil God, not a mere demon.

Gen13 doesn't exist. Caitlin and Grunge are the only two we've seen, yet. Caitlin was an infiltrator in NOWHERE who worked as a scientist on the program that created Superboy, and was his handler until she was revealed as a meta. She's currently working with Beast Boy, Terra, Thunder, and a wholly new character named Ridge (and, oddly, Niles Caulder) over in Ravagers. Grunge was Ravager (not Cait's group...a bit of a long story if you're not reading the books), who threw down with Superboy when he was trying to escape.

Okay, I must have been sleepreading the first few issues because I thought Superboy's handler at NOWHERE was Rampage/Kitty Faulkner. A lady scientist suddenly grows super muscles, I just assume...

That's as much a description of Caitlin as it is Rampage. Granted, Caitlin was originally a student, not an actual scientist, but it's still pretty much right, and Rampage undergoes rather different physical changes than Cait does. They both get taller and more muscular, but Caitlin does to a much smaller extent, as well as getting more of a bust and apparently improves her eyesight, but otherwise remains unchanged, whereas Rampage changes hair and skin colour - and hairstyle.

There are a few elements of Rampage in this version of Caitlin - she can change back, and her intelligence level drops (though not nearly to the hulkish levels Rampage's did).

The other officers had automatics. Could've been a personal sidearm. He might've brought out his handcannon when he realized he was facing a meta, and needed the greater stopping power. Not that it mattered.

Who the heck is H'el? (Pun intended) I've seen maybe ONE post about him and nothing else, and since I don't buy this book SD is my only knowledge of what goes on in it.

Is he a Bizzarro-type character like was postulated? Or some other Kryptonian? Also his name is silly. Just sayin.

Superman 13 isn't out until next week, and he hasn't appeared anywhere but these few panels, so we don't know anything about him, other than what's shown up in the solicits for the H'el On Earth crossover - he's a Kryptonian who's gunning for the last few members of the House of El.

He's probably a clone, I think.

He appears to be the new 52 Bizarro, and since in the post-Crisis "Man of Steel" version of events, a Bizarro was the result of attempting to clone Superman, I suspect something similar here. (And IIRC in early new 52 issue, Supergirl called Superboy Kon-El, which seems to translate as "Abomination of the House of El", so H'el might mean something similar)
