So, when we last left our menagerie of cast-offs and never-wanted-to-be's, Ariel had just transported them to a strange planet. Unwitingly, however, she'd left them in the path of a rampaging stegosaurus (or something like that--it's been a long time since I did any dinosaur research). Predictably, the Vanisher vanishes, Ariel runs away, Chance attempts to stand and face the beast, Siryn and Boom Boom attack, and Madrox splits into a number of dupes to help some of the others escape. Warlock carries off Gomi and the lobsters (wouldn't that be a great band name?). Madrox grabs Chance, but the beast is upon them. Then this happens:

We see a form watching from the shadows. Ariel and Chance talk, and we see that Ariel is gathering mutants, and she brought the team to this planet because of two mutants she'd detected there. She tells Chance not to go soft on Bobby, and the two of them leave him there unconscious. He wakes up and is immediately attacked by another beast.
There's an amusing page with the Vanisher that I won't be able to post because of page limits. Such is life.
The Angels find safe ground. Warlock decides to go look for Bobby. Gomi suggest they build a fire and get some food. Unfortunately, his method of gathering kindling involves pointing his uncontrollable force beam at a number of trees, and Boom Boom just happens to be in the way. She yells at him about his lack of self-control, which is very amusing coming from her:

Warlock locates Bobby and sees that he's defeated another large monster. Well, actually, he hasn't, his new friends and the final two members of the team have.
Ariel and Chance locate the Vanisher, and they all regroup with the others. Don and Bill have tracked and killed some sort of prey, and Gomi is cooking it over the campfire. Madrox then whips out his portable Cerebro:

I think they're gonna need a bigger clubhouse...
