Date: 2012-10-19 05:39 pm (UTC)Between the crappy games various superheroes have starred in, and the crappy superhero movies out there? No chance. NC alone would destroy Batman by breaking the fourth wall and embarrassing him to death over the Bat Credit-Card from Batman and Robin.

Same with the Flash/Cyborg scene--I wouldn't have immediately thought of those two being friendly, but that just makes me like it more--new take on the team should mean new takes on the relationship dynamics within it.

Date: 2012-10-19 03:08 am (UTC)Is it just me or do Superman and Wonder Woman totally look like they're crouching on a floor in that first panel, rather than y'know, floating?
And I kind of miss Clark's old hairdo, this one just isn't as dignified and paragon-y.
This continues to not interest me in the slightest.

(the joke is I think that last page looks a little bit like Etrigan)

Date: 2012-10-20 05:42 pm (UTC)Honestly, with the intense expressions on their faces, I'm reading this dialogue in 'serious, dramatic' voices, and it's kind of hilarious.
Just like everything else in the DCnU.
