Wait, he doesn't exactly seem to be involved in any actual SCIENCE, seemingly being more of a supernatural sort than a mad scientist. Is this a bizarre swipe at science in some way? Also, I believe he needs to have a teaching position to be a professor...
Were those women people, robots or demons? Did they survive Betty blowing up the place?
Kind of hilarious that the dude's evil plan involved getting Jughead addicted to a much healthier diet than he current had.

I mean sure he's acting all evil and triumphant, but it looks like he's losing out on the deal.

Still, as these Christian Archie comics go this one actually seems pretty okay, it's delivering a fairly standard moral without demonizing any real people. It's certainly better than the one about evolution in the Old West.
