"In the velvet darkness... of the blackest night..."

"Thank goodness you called for help Betty, I mean, we might have been stuck doing things we find pleasurable or something!"
Wait, he doesn't exactly seem to be involved in any actual SCIENCE, seemingly being more of a supernatural sort than a mad scientist. Is this a bizarre swipe at science in some way? Also, I believe he needs to have a teaching position to be a professor...
Were those women people, robots or demons? Did they survive Betty blowing up the place?
Kind of hilarious that the dude's evil plan involved getting Jughead addicted to a much healthier diet than he current had.

Date: 2012-10-31 03:19 pm (UTC)Also, apparently God's cool with Betty using her magic powers to destroy the house and potentially kill a bunch of people, but not Jughead eating right or Veronica sitting on a bunch of rocks or Reggie harmless masturbating to himself. That's a lot of picking-and-choosing there, sin-wise.

I mean sure he's acting all evil and triumphant, but it looks like he's losing out on the deal.

Heck, for all we know this guy could just be the Mentor to Doctor Decepto from the Bibleman series. He's beaten in pretty much the same way.

Still, as these Christian Archie comics go this one actually seems pretty okay, it's delivering a fairly standard moral without demonizing any real people. It's certainly better than the one about evolution in the Old West.

Oh, Archie, you're such a terrible friend. Like, three people you know are being trapped by (I guess) the devil and you're not really all that bothered about it until your turn came up.
